InMode EvolveX: How We Produced a Clinical Training Masterclass for Israel's MedTech Giant
When InMode — one of Israel's leading global MedTech companies — needed to train surgeons and dermatologists worldwide on the Transform protocol, they didn't settle for a standard how-to video. Here's how we built them a cinema-grade clinical masterclass.

The Brief: When Advanced Medical Technology Needs Visual Translation
InMode isn't just another medical device company — it's a MedTech powerhouse that built its reputation on technological precision and clinical safety. The EvolveX platform with the Transform Applicator combines RF (Radiofrequency) with EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) — a technology demanding precise protocol and a high level of practitioner understanding.
The challenge wasn't to film someone operating a device. The challenge was to create a clinical education tool that an experienced plastic surgeon could genuinely rely on.

The Cinematic Approach: Cinema in the Clinic
We deployed a Large Format Cinema camera package with macro and prime optics — 50mm and 90mm macro — delivering the Shallow Depth of Field that separates the clinical instructor from the background. This isn't accidental: the doctor on screen must look authoritative, not like someone filming in front of a phone.
Lighting: High-Key, soft overhead diffusion with subtle side fill. Zero hard shadows. The EvolveX screen needs to read correctly — both skin texture and the digital interface — and we're the ones managing that balance.
Motion Graphics Integration Within Live-Action
The central challenge in MedTech films is presenting critical safety information without disrupting narrative flow. The solution: teal-accented Callout Boxes in InMode's brand palette, with a brief animation that pulls the eye to the critical parameter — 43°C MAX, cable pairing per channel, step sequences.
Every graphic enters with precise timing and exits before the viewer feels overwhelmed.

Chapter Architecture: Six Stages, Zero Confusion
The film is built around a clear clinical timeline:
1. Pre-Treatment Protocol — patient preparation, consultation, prep materials
2. Preparing the Skin — cleansing, marking, mapping
3. Connecting the Cables — precise color-coding system for channel pairing — the most critical safety point
4. Pre-Heating & RF Settings — parameter configuration, temperature gating to 43°C
5. EMS Intensity & Treatment — executing the treatment, managing patient response
6. Post-Treatment Care — close-out protocol, maintenance schedule
Every cut lands precisely at the start of the incoming graphic — not before, not after. Editing in service of instruction.
Sound: Absolute Clarity
Clean production audio, no clinic echo. Subtle UI swooshes mark every graphic entry. Ambient corporate music — present but not here. The viewer must hear every word without effort.
The Result: A Global Training Asset
The film now serves InMode's global clinical education network — surgeons, dermatologists, medical spa owners — across US, European, and Asian markets. It doesn't just teach protocol; it builds brand trust.
Because when the content is precise, the device sells itself.
